SHOUT is designed with ultra-low power consumption electronics, drawing less than 50?A during sleep. This personnel tracker can periodically "wake up" from sleep and send its position report to a server, or send an emergency alert via a 911 button. Data is sent in either standard or 256-bit AES-encrypted format. An internal motion sensor allows detection of man-down scenarios. A variant of the SHOUT called Sky Hawk is also available and is capable of sending data in PECOS formats along with selected Brevity codes.
